Generally speaking; we do not gather any data from our users unless you specifically communicate with us via this website, or interact with our apps, in which case we gather tracking data to help us manage the app.

What Personal Data We Collect And Why We Collect It

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. App

If you download our app from the App Store, you will be asked to create an account with us.

Account creation will facilitate tracking your favorites, reading progress, personal artwork storage, and in-app purchases. We use this information to provide you with your own experience while using the app.

The information we gather during your experience in the app is not shared to anyone outside of Lines with Lines. This information is kept private and secure and is only collected to help make your experience more enjoyable while using the app.

When you delete your account, your data is also deleted from the app and from our system; we do not save or store your account information after you delete your account.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you subscribe to our updates, you will receive a confirmation request and retain the ability to unsubscribe at any time.

We do not share your data with any outside agency. We use MailChimp.com to collect, store and manage our subscription information, however, this information is stored in our private account and is never shared outside the system.

Comments made on this site are shared publicly. We reserve the right to reject any comment.

Invitations to join us on social media are subject to your participation in those respective social media platforms, and their respective privacy policies apply. Your participation with us on social media platforms is governed by the respective social media platforms, and is beyond our control.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
