Thomas made the lightbulb, and Nikola made a coil,
each of them was brilliant over everything they’d toil.
And though they did amazing things with all their mind and heart,
neither liked the other one and so they worked apart.
They argued over processes and created quite a feud,
they berated and belittled and were both completely rude.
It’s too bad that their pride got in the way right from the start;
they could have done much more together than they did apart.
