I Don’t Know

There are things you know you know
and there are things you don’t.

There are things you couldn’t know,
and many things you won’t.

But when it comes to knowing things
there’s one thing to be sure;

we’ll never know of everything,
though that has some allure.

So if you’re asked a question
with no evidence to show,

there’s no wrong in answering
with a simple “I don’t know.”
