It’s not enough to be capable;
you have to be willing to try.
This simple idea got Neil to the moon
and helped Orville and Wilber to fly.
They worked and they toiled and they never gave up,
even though they occasionally failed…
They stayed on their feet and kept thinking it through,
even when things broke down and derailed.
So that is the rule, it is simple as that,
It’s just about all that you need;
no matter what it is that you think you can do,
you first have to try to succeed.

Extras: Trying is the first step in succeeding at anything. And it’s always good for me to remember that my favorite heroes like Thomas Edison tried and failed many times before they finally got it right. I always tell my kids that if you don’t try, your chances of failing are 100 percent. And while trying is the essential first step, there are more steps to take to find success.
