Swimming in the shallow end
is fairly safe and sound,

you can’t go down very deep
before you touch the ground.

Swimming in the deeper end
means there’s more room for play,

the cost is that there is more risk,
and you may have to pay.

Play it safe or venture out;
you choose what you will do.

No one else will make your way,
it’s always up to you.
