Take a moment,
stop and think.

If you’re thirsty,
have a drink.

Slow the pace
and settle down.

Decide which
to smile or frown.

It’s up to you,
make a choice,

remain quiet,
share your voice.

Be engaged,
reveal a thought,

walk away,
when you would not.

Either way,
it’s up to you,

you decide,
to say or do.

And for this choice
it’s plain to see

it’s your
responsibility.

Extras: Sometimes you have to make a choice, even when you don’t have all the information you need. That can be a big responsibility, and the fear we have in making a choice can sometimes keep us from going anywhere. —Cary
